Important Facts

  • Registration is Opening in Jan 1 @ 7am, for our September 2024 races.
  • XTERRA XTERRA Kids & Youth A races are on Saturday September 14th
  • XTERRA Championship, Sprint race (including teams) & Youth B & Junior are on September 15th.
  • Registration is limited to 175 in both Sprint and Championship events. There is also a 100 spot limit in the kids race.
  • We have three new categories for youth that can qualify for the XTERRA Youth World Championships. Youth A (14-15 years), Youth B (16-17 years) and Junior (18-19 years).
  • Please see below for terms and conditions of entry
  • No day of race registration for Sprint & Championship athletes. Same day kids registrations will be allowed on the Saturday for Kids and Youth A only. Only if maximum registration numbers of 100 have not been reached. To avoid disappointment please sign up in advance.
  • If you are a TriBC member, your race day insurance is included with the race fees. We will require TriBC membership number for proof. 
  • Non TriBC members are required to pay an additional $15 Day of Race Tri BC insurance fee during the registration process, in addition to the race fees listed below. For U19 the one day Tri BC license is $5.50

ENDURANCE SPECIFIC EVENT POLICIES

  • There are absolutely no refunds, deferrals, or credits issued by ENDURANCE SPECIFIC EVENTS (XTERRA Whistler, XTERRA Pemberton Trail Run, Run Comfy Numb Trail Race) if you cancel your entry for any reason. Please don’t Ask. 

  • You can not defer your race entry to a future year. 

  • You CAN transfer your entry to another person via the transfer link on the registration page (link). There will be a $15 admin fee. Transfers MUST be done by midnight Aug 30 (2 weeks out from race day).

  • There are no waitlists.

  • You can move down in distance until midnight Sept 11.

  • No credit or refund for the difference in price if you decide to move down in distance.

  • You can move up a distance until midnight Sept 11.

  • If you want to move up in distance you will have to pay the price difference at the current registration rate. 

  • Refunds can ONLY be processed for anyone who selects the optional Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program during registration. You will have an option to refund through Protecht. Details here.

  • To move up or down in distance or you are dropping out, send us a note via our contact form.

Triathlon BC Rules

Triathlon Canada competition rules govern all sanctioned races in British Columbia. It is recommended that all competitors taking part in our event become familiar with these rules. A printable copy is available here: Triathlon Canada Rules

General Conduct of Competitors

Competitors will:

  • Practice good sportsmanship at all times;

  • Be responsible for their own safety and the safety of others;

  • Treat other competitors, officials, volunteers and spectators with respect and courtesy;

  • Inform race officials after withdrawing from the race;

  • Be responsible for knowing and staying on the course;

  • Not have bare torsos, headsets, headphones or glass containers on course.
